Well, I cannot say that I have watched any of the Olympic Games as it is all such an expensive carry-on, will increase the population by the middle distance runners et al who decide they will disappear into the middle distance and seek asylum.
Bravo for the Queen for being so sporting as to parachute into the opening ceremony, but maybe she just likes Mr. Bond.
If you had to participate in an event, could you/would you/should you?
I fear I could not even make the heats in anything, so that's me to the scrap heap of Life!

Well, this is fun, sitting here in the simple blog.  Is 'Awesome' thus?  Who decides these things?
Ah, where was I headed?  I remember now: who decides those 'Days'?  You know, the 'No Smoking Day', 'The Day of The Sausage','The International Day of The Folk Music'  Is there a committee convened who says that they reckon the humble bratwurst is pining for A Day?
I usually hear of the particular Chosen One when it's but a stroke before midnight and have missed my chance to celebrate it!
